parallel parking

is it just me, or do our cars suck ass to parallel park with? the turning radius is just so large, i'm not able to fit into spaces that i think i should be able to...which could be a real problem now that i'm moving to the city...i guess i'll just have to practice with some damn cones like when i was 16...

I think our cars parallel park pretty good compared to many other cars I've driven. They have good visiblity and the turning radius isn't horrible, unless you have like 18" wheels and up.

the great visibility makes up for the poor turning radius

u gotta come thru on some wide shit. if u get 2 close then ur

likely to crack under pressure. i find keeping at least 3 feet between

the side view mirrors is a good tecnique, also cutting the wheel

to the left before u throw it in reverse.

our turning radius sucks, when i make a u turn i make sure im as close as to the outer line ( on the right ) as i can so i dont curb any wheels, im embarressed sometime when you do it on a street and your a compact car and you cant make it all the way around and you have to back up and turn again

why did they make the CL like that anyways, my moms volvo has a turning radius that is like no other, she can turn with ease and on a dime and i think its like 36 inch radius she can turn, its outstanding

At least your windows open. minez are stuck so i have to pull it down to open it and have to pull it up to close it. sometimes it takes two people to make the stupid thing move.

Parallel is not an issue, but turning radius is. It's almost a hazzard, when you need three lanes to do a U-ey and anything less requires a two-point turn. I notice that accords don't have this problem when the one in front of me did a U-ey just like any other cars out there. But mine, I gotta swing right then crank that bitch around left, driving partially into the driveway on the other side, barely missing the curb. For a two-door coupe...that's disgusting.

Compared to the civic I used to drive the turning radius of this car sucks ass, the civic coupe was so easy to parallel park because I could crank the wheel at least 1.5 times more in either direction.

The cl reminds of a clunky beetle trying to walk backwards when parallel parking.

I parallel park everyday so my skill is not an issue, I just find this car a bitch to park and I have parallel parked with well over 20 cars in my lifetime.

This car is by far the worse though.

i hate our turn radius, i try my best to avoid curbchecks, but in certain mall parking lots, normal cars have trouble avoiding them, i'm just doomed to follow
