painting under the wheel well

Im slapping my new rims on in about 3 weeks and I wanted to paint or seal under the wheel well because I still dont have my car lowered ( saving for a full suspension upgrade)
Since its not lowered you can see under the wheel well and the black plastic around it has lost it shiny black color, so I wanted to seal or paint it in the meantime. Any suggestions on what I should use

Leave it alone or live with it, painting it would be useless and a waste of money...money that can be used to lower it

You could use the spray-on tough stuff truck liner. Your never going to get the wheel well to stay shiny on a daily driver.

Painting splashguards? arent those made to get dirty? If you must, I would take them off, clean them thoroughly then spray them with a clear gloss. Or just use tire shine to restore the original luster. Either way, dont expect it to stay clean for long.

My vote is on tire shine.

Use tire cleaner or foaming engine cleaner and some tire shine. If you're gonna go through the trouble to take the guards out, I'd just replace em. I'm replacing mine when I finally replace my bumper
