looks good, Ive been planing to do mine, but I have to go get the battery cover 1st, and Im havin my painted be a friend who has a body shop, paintin it that same color as the car, also painting wipers and that plastic over the wiper motors
Looks great! Hate to copy, but I'm def doin mine red to match the new CAI and the wires. any kinda paint brand work better?

No man its two coats of Clear Coat... primer would just destroy everything you did. I can reccomend that You Do sand it first w/ 400, spray 1 coat of primer, wet sand 400, two coats of paint, MAKE SURE YOU LET DRY COMPLETELY! YOU MUST BE PATIENT!! then 2 coats clear. In painting My interior I know plastic is a bitch and paint peels right off.... my advice... be careful and patient

Green color scheme to match the car, with gold letters on the cover.
I saw this done earlier this summer on I think Astroboy's car, and fell in love with it, I just needed to get my other car fixed so I cn take my time prepping and painting them.
I also suggest High Temp paint if you can find it, it just would last longer and I do suggest a light sanding of the plastic to bettermate the paint and plastic parts! CLEAR COAT is a must to keep the shine and help repel the cracks, chips and flakes in the future.

i just cleaned it very good and used krylon paint and clear coat, i used a fat cap also. for you people who dont know what that is, it is used for doing graffiti, using this cap makes it come out better.
casper-i did blue because i like blue, i am either doing my calipers that color also or maybe silver/grey color.
acura3.0cl- you just have to turn the fasteners and they pop off, be careful of the ones by the cap and wires they are in there pretty good.

Did the spray paint you used come with a flexible additive so that the paint dosen't crack?? I ask cause when you paint a flexible surface, normal spray paint can crack after a while. There's an additive in the paint that allows for bendability in whatever you paint. I don't know what its called though. It might not be necessary for those plastics but, if its available, that would be my choice of paint.

just my .02 but i dont like it it makes the car look cheaper and think about trade in time talk about your loss in value....overall it looks very

To answer that comment from KC CL and to clarify to NYKEEROCKA and all....
I am not hating or giving attitude... I hook up my car to please me, and I love getting feedback to improve my car... Good or bad... I give back the same... I see negative comments as productive as cosistent positive comments, with room to grow... I do not say things on this board to be a dick, and I am sorry if it comes out that way, but I am honest and truthful in everything I do and say in life, including my criticisms here on A-CL... Its my feelings if I like and/or do not like something and I feel entitled to share that openly and will not sit there and tell everybody taht everything is GREAT and BEAUTIFUL lilke alot of people do here... especially when its not!!!

all you guys need to chill, i painted my shit blue cause i like blue, and i am not trading it in i own the thing so if i sell it thats my problem(nothing a little paint thinner cant take care of). hey i just posted pics, someone dont like it oh well, i dont like some things other people do. it was just something i tried, it can be undone if i feel.

I take what people say into consideration, but I also know what I like for me. Remember, whatever we say to you, you still gotta make the payments, so please yourself first.
