I was bored, so I got some paint and I painted my brakes. These brakes still have much life on them, so I didn't want new ones, so I just painted them. Let me know what you think

Red is for Brembos.

 

brembos are for people who have money.

 

red spray painted calipers on stock wheels

you could have at least brushed them on and/or used a less flashy color

 

I like it. I'ma paint my calipers when I do my brakes. I'ma gonna go with blue paint.

 

theres one guy on here who has bright green brakes. that looks pretty cool.

 

hmm i should take pics of the accord's brakes, from factory they're like a metallic shiny silver.
and btw you need alot more coats, you can still see black spots so its not gonna last very long before it looks like complete shit.

 

did you just spray the caliper while it was still bolted on? or did you take it off and spray it?

 

better yet, take some daytime pics of the accord.

 

How did you get the new trunk springs on?

looks like you shoulda used some degreaser of some sort. They look dirty. or is that just me?

 

Did the car originaly come with the factory spoiler?

and yeah, the paint job was mediocre at best. i have to do another coat or two, maybe brush it on, for it to look good.

 

I painted mine red too, but took them off the rotors first and used more coats

 

damn sorry but that looks like a shitty job. take your time, clean, wire brush, and put multiple coats.

 

i know its a shitty job. i'm working on it again tomorrow.

 

I wouldnt paint my rotors, but thats just me. I like to stop and not hit the car in front of me.

and having a little paint on the rotors doesnt hinder the car's stopping.

 

no but if you get it on the edge its hard to get off thats y i tape them off

its cot even caliper paint its the hi-temp paint (they have more colors)

 

I still dont like to have something foreign on something that makes my 3470 lb car come to a stop...

 

i had a hard stopping situation today and my car stopped like normal...
