Dark CL

I have not had minor troubles with my 97 CL, but nothing to the degree I have heard on this site. This got me thinking.

What is the original factory warrenty on the 97 CL 3.0? I know the 3yr/45,000 mile warrenty is gone, and we have an emission warrenty. Do we have a longer drive train warrenty that covers tranny problems?

Carpoint did not have the warrenty information listed.

drive train may be up to 100k? As for emissions, Honda sent out a notice to all owners maybe a year ago about automatic extension of the emissions warranty. Not exactly sure how much longer the extension was, but it was something about bad EGR and PCV valves.

on an acura the powertrain warrenty is 60k or 4 yrs. i bought extended warrenty from acura when i bought my car in aug 00 for bout $768 which bumped everything to 100k or 2004. so far i had an oil leak fixed, engine coolant leat fixed, and both power window regualtors replaced. did i mention they go for bout $300 each!!!! im sure glad i bought that extended warrenty. they did blame the window track being loose on the tint place which is bs cus they done take the door apart. oh well.

I know about the window motor. I had mine done at a Honda Dealer for 210.00. The Acura dealer charges 90.00 an hour while Honda charged 60.00. Extended warrenty would have been nice to have...
