Which one should i do?

Well im keeping the cl but i am stuck on what to do... Basically money isnt a issue i just need some input. I have a couple things i am looking at doing. Heres the options im considering..

-Rebuild my F22 and run 10-12 psi
-Rebuild my F22 and put a H22 head on with some work done to it and run all motor
-Swap in the H22 run all motor maybe boost a little down the road

Like i said money isnt an issue i just want some input on what will be the best. Let me know.

H22 is a better motor, for a four banger that is.

How about the J35 block with J32 head.

You could be the next Cocoa.

if you want the most power you're going to get out of any engine that fits this car that well, then h22/build/boost down the road.

if money isnt an issue then this shouldnt be either...

Build a f22, the cylinder walls can take the damage better than the h22.

really hard to swap the V6 into a 4cyl body.

my suggestion would be to just turbo the F22. (depending on mileage)

Well one reason money isnt an issue is that insurance is dumb as hell. It hailed here a week back or so... (golf ball to softball size) My windsheild got cracked and i took it to get a new one and while there they look over the whole car. I have a few really small dents in the pass and driver door that are not noticable unless you are looking down the side of the car next to the paint. from straight out you cant tell.. Long story short i ended up with $2500 for the windshield ($300) and the rest for dents that dont exisit. At least me and my friends cant find for our lifes. So i got $2000 that i am using plus what i have been saving to do this... Anyways the F22 in there now has 217K on it.. so i would have to rebuild it and boost. How much boost could i run on a fully built f22? Theres a J35a or w/e in the blackmarket i was looking at ....

You could safely run 12psi on a built f22b1. Crunch out the numbers with 12 and see what compressor map matches up best then go from there. Finding a turbo manifold for the f22b engine is probably the toughest part.

There are a few companies that make them, but not very many. The reason for this is that the spacing is 0-00-0 rather than the usual 0-0-0-0. The companies that do make the turbo manifold for the f22b engines usually make the log style ones rather than the more efficient tubular ones.
The best help I can give you is to read this thread very closely :http://www.accordinglydone.com/forum...ead.php?t=6472
Also, the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell is a great tool for learning if you really want to know about turbochargers and whatnot.

why would you wan to build on a motor that has 217k on it already? save your money, youll need it later. but in the mean time you might as well run the shit out of that engine.

No, definately Pittsburg. I lived in PA for a short while. Pretty in some places, shitty in others. Are you PA guys still allowed to burn trash in barrels around your neighborhoods?

i said before that a J-series V6 motor wont fit right in a 4cyl shell. it would not be worth the hassle. just because its the same car doesnt mean it fits correctly. your best bet would be to swap in a H22, if your planning on doing a swap at all.

Well still looking into the H22... Searching on h-t I keep seeing mixed reactions to that motor and h series in general.. Not sure what to do yet. Still researching everything, calculating numbers, estimating work, yada yada yada. I still have no clue what to do. The J-series isnt happening.. Looked into it and like ghost said not worth the hassle.

you might as well take that money and pay for somethin else, like college tuition, becuz that engine route IMO isn't worth it, unless you're gonna make money off your car
