Oil Cap: Special Request

Ok First Genner's. I need a little help. It's going to take you knowing a second gen guy too. I was looking at some engine bay dress up items and ran across an Oil Cap that I liked. Problem is, they don't list any for the 01-03 CL...soooo, I need someone to physically take their first gen oil cap and try and place it onto the second gen caps place. I tried my Integra cap, the threads are actually the same put the cap is too large in diameter. If someone could help me out, ensuring the the first gen is completely interchangeable with the second gen, I'd be greatly appreciative. Please post here as well as PM me if you can as I may not check the 1st gen side of the house much. Pics would be a bonus. TIA.

From everything i've seen, (this is for my 1st gen anyway) the civic, s2000, prelude, accord, cl all share the same oil cap and gas cap. Not sure about your 2nd gen, but it should be the same as the 7th gen accord, correct?

Problem is, the diameter of the cap itself. I have an Integra also, I can take the CL's and put it tightly right onto the Integra, but since the diameter is larger on the Integra's cap, it won't fit down into the recessed portion of the engine cover. As a matter of fact I noticed that I put some scratches on it trying to see if it would work.

Was thinking to maybe try newer Accords also, but don't know anyone with that year model.
