good lord, over $1300 w/ a camber kit, etc. but i had only eibach sportlines on my first car.... sucked, considered coilsleeves but was talked outta it for some FK silverlines... after a real set of coils (not the sleeve type) you dont want anything else, lol. plus i like it hitting the ground 
shit i dont remember a baka-T... i had a few other names too, projekt-01, projekt-V, etc.... heh.
dunno what the type w kit looks like.. got a pic of an accord with such? sounds clean if it matches the cl front lip

Yah the sideskirts stick down about .5" lower then the front. I remember you went through a shit load of names. I also wen't through many i've forgotten. I wish I could get my car lower. Stupid rubbing issues.

that other thread has me thinkin of maybe painting mine.....but i would need the motor to be painted....im a perfectionist...i wouldnt want a diffrent color car and a silver engine bay....myabe ill keep the primrose color..and just add a stronger pearl in there.....damnit...more money on the car... ...acl ownz me.....

i took a pic of the little piece of shit dvd player i bought its on my site....plus ill be getting the screens on friday 
im happy....and hopefully the compressor will get here soon..then i can get the struts.....

my God that white CL is sick... thas' what i wanted, lol.
well.. as said before i been in the whole vw thing for years... felt like i spent a lotta $$ more than i shoulda on repairs instead of mods. (esp. with the GLX). i always loved CL's, was disappointed when i first found out there was no 3.0 5spds, but soon enough i found i was bored with vw. they're real nice cars if you can do em up right, but every look i wanted to achieve with the mk3 jetta i already did. as for power... i mean 2.8 VR6 can only push out 174hp while japanese cars are coming out with 200hp+ on 4cyl NA motors?? something's not right.
so it was either a 1st or 2nd gen CL, WRX, 4dr 98-01 GSR, or S14.... came down to 1st gen CL or S14 due to $$$. just ended up with a 3.0 'cause i found a rather nice clean one, and they're fucking sexy. :P
if you notice, i was registered on this site for awhile now even though ive only owned my car for a week... just been reading up the whole time :P

baka your car's gonna look sick as fuck with the kit on.., i wouldnt mind those skirts as well. got some helpful info from dr.dre though regarding the v2, i think i'll grab that next... once funds rebuild

btw regarding tint and recon... you guys get hassled often?? i used to take it up the ass from the 5-0 so i finally gave in last april and got recon for the jetta... then went 12% tint down the sides, 35% front and back windshield, hoping cops would be fooled while tailing me... sure enough, it worked rather well. after that i only got a few speeding tickets (all dismissed, petty) and one recently for exhibition of speed (court is may6). soooo i was debating whether to even get recon for this car.
but yep tint's a must for me.... anything less than 12 and i feel naked as shat.
