I just intalled headers and a test pipe on my 98 2.3 CL. There is an O2 sensor that goes into the cat but not a place to screw it into on the test pipe. Now I have the CEL and dont know what to do with the 02 sensor. Who here has a test pipe and how to get rid of the CEL???

For now I just unplugged it from the harness.

Ive had it before where they make a hole in the test pipe, weld a large nut that would fit on the hole, then scew in the o2 sensor.

Anyone here just remove the cat without adding headers? Just woundering if it was much of a difference in noise?

yes i have a powercore race cat with no aftermarket headers my car is really loud BUT I DONT CARE

Do you also have an aftermarket muffler? or stock?
