Just wondering...I know the CL succeeded the Legend coupe, and I am coming from a 3.2 Legend coupe to a 98 3.0CL......in the legend, it had the same bottom end as the 3.0 NSX and all we had to do was swap out the heads for an NSX engine (and modify to fit in a VTEC solenoid and controls, ECU, etc.)......so Im wondering if the NSX and the 3.0 CL share any similarities or maybe even with the 3.2CL.....Im a firm believer that any VTEC car can be capable of 10 second 1/4 mile times....just gotta start off right......thanks in advance all

I'm pretty sure the Legend II evolved into the RL of today. If the 3.0 and 3.2 share the same aluminum block, perhap the NSX's 3.0 DOHC engine will mount into the 3.0CL engine mounts....?

swapping out the head from the nsx will not work, the compression is set up for the other block for teh nsx not our shitty 3.0 blocks, i would not think it would work but no one has ever tried it, then again, where would you get a nsx head

the motors are different. Ours is a J series and I think the NSX is C- series

and it's not hard to find an nsx head 97acura, those things are in junk yards all over the place.

yes the nSX is a C30 series and the legend is a C32A the legend shares the same bottom end as the NSX 3.0 but not the 3.2 NSX.....and the 3.5RL is just a bored out 3.2 legend engine....If we have a 3.0 in our cars and I know that they derive from the honda accord platform, perhaps some adjustments can be made, not only with the NSX heads but perhaps with newer accord engines. ...oh yeah, the RL succeeded the legend sedan but the coupe originally was designed to replace the integra until honda realized there was too much demand in the US market for a economic 4 door sporty car. thus, the CL was a mix of upscale accord coupe and legend coupe......just be glad the CL didnt derive from the VIGOR.....AHH! 5 cylinders!

The NSX is a reverse running engine. They made it that way so it cannot easily be swapped into anything.
