NOS Question

How bad is nos for the 3.0 engines. what are the long term effects it will have on the engine? only like a 65/75 shot. also what kind of problems can it cause? thanks- DooG

It's not bad for an engine as long as it's setup properly, it will cause extra wear as would any forced induction system. But as long as everything is installed correctly you won't have a problem. It's the transmission you need to worry about.

yea, dam transmission. is there anything i can do to prevent trans wear or slow it down?

sweet i remember there was a post about this a while ago. i just gotta find it. he even had directions for install! yep im sure he also said where to buy it...thanks ill post the link here if i find it incase anyone else is interested.

can we sinstall a tranny cooler on the 1st gen? i thought it got cooled by the radiator?

It is, but it's barely adequate.

I recommend a tranny cooler on EVERY auto CL! It will extend the life of the tranmission.
