when my 3.0 is in park, i cant rev it past 5000. is this normal?

just curious about a rev limiter being only at 5000 as opposed to 6250

does this happen to anyone else?

yea, in park and neutral the rev limiter is lowered

sure it's safe, why wouldn't it be? Don't go doing it everyday or anything though. Your car rev's that high when you drive doesn't it?

i just wanted to make sure that it was normal to rev only to 5000, as opposed to until redline.
