In my Accord, before I got my TL, the SilverStar bulbs worked great.

I have Silverstars now. They look better than standard halogens but aren't much brighter (especially high beams). I'd recommend saving up for HID's rather than spending money on Silverstars or PIAA's.

silverstars suck, i went through 2 sets of em and i hear im not the only one to have problems with em all the time. I have once again an offshore bulb and its brighter than silvstars and ive had em for about a year now and no problems. I'll take some pics tonight of em since i'll be selling em soon.

Have anyone of you had problems with inspection after converting over to HID? I thought HID conversion kits weren't street legal.

It's a factor when I can't pass insepction and have to worry about getting pulled over for a failed inspection sticker.

I live in PA, and had to take my aftermarket bulbs and clear turn signals off to pass inspection. The asshole that did my inspection broke my nokya bulbs too, so I couldn't put them back in. Asshole

i like the nokya stage 2's..They are a nice color and they are pretty bright as well. Plus they are like 20 bucks shipped off ebay.

But do what everyone else says. Save the 250 for hids.

I think I found a place where I can pass inspection. I'm done with my car for the winter though besides installing some LEDs in the interior and the clear signals I got tonight. Next spring is when I'm going to start on the paint work that needs to be done, rims (just scraped up the right front stock rim today - I hate myself), and possibly some HIDs depending on how big of a bonus I get at work.

Pennsylvania has the worst laws though. We can't even go beyond 30% tint. The cops I talked to said, "If you can tell it's been tinted from stock, it's probably illegal and we'll pull you over for it."

I've had terrible luck with Silverstars.. I melted four filaments in one year, and the store kept blaming it on me. I don't see how there could be too much current going to it, if there's a fuse..

Anyway, I would try Nokya or Polarg, I've had the best luck with Ebay instead of driving around or having to call a bunch of places up looking for them.
