Hello all,


Nokia has released 770 which is an internet tablet which has wifi and bluetooth. It also has GPS application which takes signal from a GPS sensor and gives directions. You can read more about it here


Now i have some questions. I am a total noob when it comes to automobiles . I have a few questions and asking for suggestions.


I have a 98 cl (2.3) and i was wondering if i cud take out the CD player, and also the little box below it and fit this 770 in there. Is there enough space and also can there be a air inlet (from behind) so that the 770 wouldnt get hot if i put it in there?. Can anyone please provide me tips that would help me out. ( i am also searching but a few tips would help too).

Now if this is possible it would totally rock. Because it can double as GPS 9 with a gps receiver ofcourse ). And also put a 4gb SD in there and it would act as a audio device, also when ever a wifi is availble it could download all our email etc. So its like a mini computer on the go. It would be awsome.

So if you guys have any tips / suggestions please let me know.

look kinda small to fill in that double din. there isn't any vented air going down there...but i dont think a device like that would get as hot as a CD player would.

 

yeah it looks small to fill in the double din space. for sure you could make a piece to fit inside there along with the nokia.

 

unless you get one of these and cut it out.
