Wow the Skylines definitely look nice, especially for their age, but is it all worth it? Spend 40k on a Skyline and AT LEAST 10K for inspections and such. For the price range you could buy a Corvette (RWD but powerful), an STi/EVO with AWD and similar engine specs/handling, or a new TL 6 speed with navi AND comptech supercharger AND a-spec kit! According to the comptech website, an 05TL 5AT w/exhaust and supercharger produces 288 WHEEL HP/227 WHEEL TQ. Add +5-+15 (high) onto each for being a manual and transferring more power to the ground, and you have a damn good looking fully loaded new sedan...A sedan with nearly identical crank numbers as the R33 GTR (according to the numbers on motorex.com), nearly identical weight (skyline has slight advantage 150 lbs or so), and an extra gear to top. Car buff magazines consistantly hit 5.7 second 0-60 times in the 6 speed TL STOCK, as opposed to 5.2 for Skyline according to motorex.com Bar the slight track edge and better handling of the Skyline, I am guessing you would be much happier longterm with the heated leather, voice activated nav, memory seats, etc. Of course if you just care about performance/looks/exclusivity and not luxury, the Skyline is the way to go.

Yea Ive debated the Skyline / TL because I was ready to go with a TL. Its already inspected and legal so its 40k is road ready. And yes I could geta lot more with the TL but the rarity and right hand drive is priceless. I can own a TL anytime in my life. But How many chances can you say you've owned a skyline. Plus since they might make the R35 here in the states its gonna lose alot of appeal to buying a new car. Itll be costly but no longer a household name, so i figured I want to have one before that happens

And btw, motorex got popped for bringing cars over illegallly 2 years ago.

To bad the owner there got arrested nearly 2 years ago for illegally importing them and now has made the laws 100x harder to bring them in....
