Is Nitrous Worth it

Comparing the risk involved, is installing nitrous worth it? IS there steps you can take to remove the problems assosciated worth it. I am just becoming more and more sceptable every step closer I get. I was thinking maybe a new fuel regulator would help as well. O well just thought I could get some opinions!

dust hasn't had any problems yet. I don't think you should have any worries as long as you got the zex plugs and don't go above a 75 shot. Your tranny might be a problem tho.

Hey after seeing what you ran, you better hurry up and get that n2o installed so you can beat those ex civics and ls tegs.

If I had to do it over again, I would not have installed the nitrous.

Don't get me wrong, it was fun to use and a cool toy to show off. I just wouldn't do it again. I guess I didn't use it enough. It was more of something that I would show off at meets.

I didn't have any problems with my nitrous. All I did was intsall the spark plugs. I even ran the 75 shot with no problems. It would still be in my car, if I had it. Don't need it anymore!!

Honda/Acura makes really good fuel regulators. I don't think there's a need to replace them. As long as you don't go pass 300hp at the crank, your fuel regulator should be fine.

Damn right it's worth it!!!!!

Just go for it! :P

A properly installed nitrous kit is safe (including the correct spark plugs and get a tranny cooler).

If I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten a N2O kit installed MUCH SOONER!!!!

You won't have a problems, atleast I haven't. One important thing to do is install a tranny cooler!!

Also, don't worry about injectors, just get the proper plugs and you'll be fine :

cor: You can run a 75-shot with no need to modify the engine. Just run with nitrous-friendly plugs and 93+ octane gas.

I pay $4 per pound x 10 lb bottle = $40 + 5% tax = $42.00.

I paid $4.49 per lb in Altoona, PA last weekend (he gave me a break from $4.99 because I bought 17 lbs--2 bottles)!
