Nitrous

Nitrous, what is the cheapest safe set-up I can buy. By safe I mean so that I won't fuck anything, except for maybe an air filter,up. Prices and sites would be a plus. Thanks in advance

Like myself you dont really have any mods so it should be safe. I dont think you need anything else that doesnt come included with the kit you buy. Except a bottle warmer. Anyway good luck with the laughing gas,

LOL, me get Nitrous to beat you? lol, we'll see at the track, I already know that your car is faster than mine, but we gotta see how close we are at the track. But I have been thinking about Nitrous for a long time, kind of a big step though. Do me a favor and don't tell anyone about my inquiry, if I get it I don't really want people around here to know I have it.

P.S. real men drive sticks!!

Question, when is Nitrous dangerous for your car. For example is if you are in 5th gear at say 2500 rpms, I assume it would be a bad idea to arm the system and then go WOT. But with that in mind is it dangerous to arm it and go WOT at 2500rpms in 2nd? When are the times that I can use it and when are the times I can't? Thanks in advance for all the help.

You can run ntrous with the current mods you have now. I would suggest getting colder spark plugs than the stock ones. You can pick up some zex spark plugs for like $30.00.
Some dangers of spraying would be redlineing your car while spraying. When you redline your car adds less gas to your engine to get you out of redline. If there is little gas being added and alot of nitrous that would be a bad combo. You can spray at any rpm you like other than redline. I've sprayed off the line numerous times. As long as the install is done correctly, you get better plugs and always use premium gas 92+ octane you be fine.

YEAH, I would love to have NITROUS, but it is probably just a "wet dream" anyway, I am still looking into it and I just realized that AMOCO sells 92 octane gas. C.J. you should know that, you used to work there . LOL

Get NX + a bottle warmer. That is probably the best setup. Plus or minus remote bottle opener and purge kit if you got the money. Purge onto the solenoid for a denser colder nitrous shot instead of a show purge out the hood.
