Newbie questions

I have been looking for parts for a 97 3.0CL, but coming up short. It seems a lot of parts are made for the 2.2 and the new CL-S, but not too many for the 3.0. I have a ton of questions:
1) Does anyone know of a catback exhaust for a 3.0?
2) What about a body kit? (I've found a nice front end, but nothing else)
3) What about suspension? (Looking for strut braces, sway bars, poly bushings, coilovers maybe?)
4) Was there a manual transmission available on the 3.0CL in '97? Do manuals from any other car fit? Anyone have a clue where I could source one from?

Also, does anyone know what the largest rims/tires you can fit without rubbing?

Thanks for the help, I know I have a lot of questions! =)

Most of the parts from a 94-97 V6 accord will work for your car. Most of the suspension and engine parts will work with very little if any modification from what i have read. Not much in the ground effects department just the wings west front lip and spoilers and the 94-97 accord side skirts should fit. No there wasnt a manual transmission avaible for the '97 3.0 just the 2.2 Im sure some other people will respond with more info

i am looking for the same things you are. I have found nothing.

I have heard about 97 accords having same parts. You can get a nice bumper and just have it remolded to your car for like 100 bucks.

What bumper did you see for the 3.0

It was the Type-R air dam on this page:

http://www.modacar.com/acura/framese...kits_acura.htm

I have also seen it listed on another site, I believe its around $500 or more.

Yep..nothing much for our cars. I have a 98 CL 3.0 so it is a little different. The struts from the 94-97 fits ours I think..haven't had time to try it yet...but as far as I know, there are no sways for our cars. Only the new cl's have sways. I've seen people sticking Tanabe and greddy exhausts on 3.0's.

I can't really add to what everyone else has already said, only support it. Basically, several parts from the 94-97 Accord will fit our car b/c underneath, our car is based on that generation Accord. So you should have luck with exhaust and springs, etc. The only body kits we have are the air damn you found, plus a spoiler from the same company (Wings West). That's about it. I don't think there was a manual for the 3.0 CL but I could be wrong on this.

Yeah...Acura never made a manual 3.0 series to the CL. Kind of weird...they only made the manual for the 2.2 and the 2.3 CL models. Sad but true...
