there are some companies which can make c/f hoods for us... we need at least 3 people to make c/f hood.. and it will be like over $500.. if we find like 10 people, it will be like $500 shipped.. too pricy.. also, they don't make rolled edges, pre drilled, etc.. even tho it's $$, it's not worth..

500 shipped isn't too pricey for me at this point (I Need a new hood badly due to some idiot) especially since the dealer wants 450 for a hood unpainted...
Too bad we can never get enough serious people to go through with a groupbuy and to find one person who's willing to donate the hood to the company...

well.. finding one persone who has to donate his hood isn't hard.. cuz he will get a FREE c/f hood.. and most of shops are in CA.. and lots of CLers are in CA too... so i think it's easy to find... but the hard thing is that.. to find 10 people.. cuz of the $$ problem, they can't save $$..

Well, thing about finding a donor is that I believe the past group buys, whoever donated the hood would have to wait about a month without a hood, and we couldn't find someone willing to do so. There was also a groupbuy for even 5 people (at a higher price of course) and we couldn't get that commitment, so yeah...at 10 people it's just that much harder
