NEW WHEELS/TIRES--18s :)

Hey,

I put my new rims on today. You can check my sig (which took 45 fucking minutes to redo--html was turned off, and I had 80% of it in html!) to see what I got. [Keep in mind that my car is parked on a slight hill, so the drop looks off.]

Here's the link to some quick (and not so good pics): Pics

DID I TELL YOU HOW FUCKING PLEASED I AM TO HAVE A-CL.COM BACK!

Real HIDs to be installed in the AM (if I don't screw it up)!

My purple kit arrives next week!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Patrick! :o

I'm about done with the mods. I just wanted to get everything in, so I can enjoy the CL this spring and summer.

I spent last spring and summer, mostly without mods, just in disbelief that I owned an Acura CL!

Not to post whore, but Mofo...when you get 18"s (i'll assume with a 42 or 45mm offset?) are you going to be able to keep your neuspeed springs without rubbing? Let us know when you get them on...After I put some neuspeeds on I'm going to be hard pressed to decide between 17s/18s. By the way Rick, the ADR's look much better on your car than I thought they would when you showed us the pic of the wheel...now we'll have to wait and see what you can do when you throw in the bottle of happiness (what shot by the way?)

The caps look great! They protrude very little, and not beyond the lip of the wheel. I really like these wheels! I'm glad I got them. Once I paint the brake calipers, the cross-drilled/slotted rotors will really stand out!

Look forward to the pics of your wheels!

Thats why I don't think I could get away with thin spoked rims cuz they would expose my rusted ass rotors. You cross-drilled will look pimp! :

Bitchin' CL: I got them from whalentire.com for just under $1200.00 shipped (including lug nuts).

d5c5b: I got the fronts for $99.00 plus shipping ($124) and the rears for $75.00, shipped. They are the stock size. They work great, but especially during repeated braking or heavy braking (they really disapate the heat).

I got the fronts from :This seller on eBay.

I got the rears from: This seller on eBay.

Thanks to both for your compliments!

Wow, those really look nice. They look aggressive but still classy.

Hey, once you get two shiny tips peaking out the rear of the car you'll be set!

(If you're still interested)

BTW, I'm just getting an axel-back at this point in time, HKS Dragger "style". I'll be able to get a silencer in it and that should solve my resonance problem but it's still taking too long to get it.
Maybe we can meet up and swap rear sections till mine comes in? That way you won't have to wait as long as I do.
