Hey guys, Well now that i did the lips and insyone was showing these ROTA wheels on a thread I decided iam going to get them. My boy from the shop called up Rota and spoke to a salesman and said that since they dont have the pattern i want they are goin to make me a custom ROTA D2. I wanted to see how they would look on my CL before i order them in the first week of september. It will take a 3 weeks for a month to get them. SOOO PLZ SOMEONE PHOTSHOP THESE WHEELS ON MY CAR FOR ME!!! Btw the rims that are currently on the car are not goin to be "FOR SALE" if i get the rota d2.

-18x8.0 with a 35+ offset
-gloss balck

haven't seen it in a long time. 2 people have owned it after chewbaka_t sold it.

my guess is that it's holding up; unless the 2nd owner is an idiot like the first owner and in that case i'd say the car is totalled.

the wheel size i want will have 3" dish in the front and 4" in the rear.

 

if you're tuckin half or majority of the tire, i think it should look fine.

that pic looks like he chopped on a set of ssr profs. the rotas have a really deep dish cause the spokes cave in. which kinda makes the face of the rim look kinda awkward. I dunno, ive never seen them in 18's though, but here they are 17" on my friends xb

i don't think they come in 4x114.3 =/ i think you have to convert your lugs to a 5 lug too!

 

Yeah I noticed that on the D2's. The face sticks out and looks almost flush with the outer lip dispite the ammount of dish it has.

 

They look sick in person. Gotta have um after seeing it

They are custom drilling the holes on my ROTA D2's thats why is going to take like a month and 1/2 to get them. its is goin to be a 4x114.3 18x8 with a 35+ offset. The guy from the shop told me by rolling fenders that 35+ would not be that much of a problem?? is this true?

 

depends on how low you are. if you're tuckin majority of tire then you may experience rubbing while turning unless you: roll your fenders; and camber out the fronts. another thing that'll help the clearance issue is to run stretched tires aka a smaller tire. i'd say a 215/40 or 35 on an 8 would be good.
