New Rotors @ 60K?
I have a 99 CL 3.0 w. 60,000 miles. Had my rotors resurfaced once from the dealer due to shakes while braking at high speed. They looked a little thin afterwards.
I took my car to Meineke to get new pads & they told me I needed new front rotors. They said the rotors were rusted & too thin to resurface. Cost approx. $370 for the entire job.
Is this common at 60,000 miles?

depends on how hard your breaking....and if the resurfaced them to much..they couldve taken more off than needed...and also the brake pads your using.....and with a 99....its cheaper to buy the rotors and DIY.....only a few bolts to worry about as long as youve got some mechanical knowledge.....

yea, the cl's are heavy ass cars. the only way out of the warpage trap is to get cross drilled rotors. there was a group buy on them a while ago. but u can still find them on ebay for like 150$ for all 4.

^^not really, solid rotors are probably the best bet.
The high speed shaking is just normal IMO. My rotors are not warped, and do shake some when braking hard from high speed, IE 100-50 or so. Shaking still happens after that even with moderate pressure. Happens when they get REALLY hot. If I drive around abit and let them cool, the shaking goes away. Weird.
