new pics! new cai, rear bumper mods

sorry guys, got rid of the aem. went with injen. much nicer than aem. 1 piece, much cleaner looking, bigger pipe (2.75"), and cheaper! its a little dirty now.

the rear bumper is completely filled and just needs sanded. once that is done we will begin to make the box for the license plate.

you may want to get some split loom tubing on those battery wires... it will look much neater and the wires wont get brittle over time or chafe on anything. BTW, wheres the fuse for the amp wire?????

yeah we are looming the wire, but we are in the process of designing the system so we wont run a fuse until we know our total amp rating on the components. dont worry we have it all covered! thanks for the input!

how much was the injen intake? Do you get em' off of the 98+ V6 accord? Do they make a bypass valve for it? I'm scared of water getting into my shit. Florida has some crazy storms and flooding occours quicker than you think.

email me for prices, i dont use the board for that reason.

same for the 98+ accords.

no bypass valve as far as i know. i did cut about 4 inches off the bottom of the intake (the injen intake that its) to raise the filter a little bit. the injen filter sits a little lower than the aem, and it was straight towards the car. cutting the intake allowed me to raise the filter location as well as being able to face the filter almost straight up and down so the side of the filter is facing the front of the car. understand? better air flow.

btw, when we were discussing the accord comptech supercharger alot of you were thinking the CL engine bay is different than the accord, even though they are the same engine, and that it wont fit. well i have experience with 2 different intakes on the Cl that were both for the v6 accord and there are 3 different mounting spots between the 2 intakes, and all of them are the SAME EXACT LOCATION of the accord mounting spots. so i am definitely starting to believe the engine bays are the same.

Okay, I'm trying to decide between the AEM and Injen. I also am worried about the water and snow factor as well. I can't put any bypass on an Injen? That may be the deciding factor for me...
Please help me with this decision.
