New owner questions
Just got a 98 2.3CL and I have a couple of questions. I'm getting a beeping noise whenever I open the passenger door. My Vigor does this if the lights are left on or the key is in, but the CL does it whenever I open the door. It doesn't do it if its running. Is this normal??? Also, what am I going to have to go through to replace a couple of instrument cluster lights? Any info would be appreciated.

Check the "Must read for all newbies" sticky at the top for "rmstoico"s instructions on installing indiglo guages for your instrument cluster light problem.
There's step by step info on how to get your guage cluster out.

is the engine off and the key still in the ignition? if so the car will keep beeping or buzzing is probably a better term not sure what you mean exactly.

in my legend a few years back.. the back locks didnt work, and it kept making a buzzing noise.. but in your case.. the lock works.. kinda odd..
try calling up the dealer and asking what might be the problem.
