Depends...is it stainless steel? Anyhows, most of the magnaflows are straight through designs, so it is going to be as loud as the other straight throughs. They do make a 3 chambered muffler though, which is more quiet. However, if you want quiet, I suggest you go with Dynomax Super Turbos.

i've got that magnaflow muffler....mines the 4 in tips though...(4 in long, not wide). I'm getting it put on this week, so I'll tell you how it shounds..

I've got the 14815 which is very similar. I also got 2.25" custom piping. I didn't get a resonator at first and SHE WAS LOUD. So I had a glasspack resonator put in and it is now perfect. Nice and deep but not too loud. I would recommend getting the custom piping and resonator. It cost me about 370 total. But 175 installed for just the muffler isn't bad as the muffler retails for over $100.

i got magnaflow too i think mine is the 14820

straight tips 3 inch tips, 2.25 piping and resonator cut off and muffler installed for 75 bucks

i got my muffler on ebay for 60 shipped i got a killer deal i couldnt pass up
