Son of bitch, shit! I hope you catch the fucker. Never mess with another man's ride. That's the fucking rule. Unless, they jam your shit first. That is what insurance is for. Hope you got a low deductible on comprehensive.

It's the smartest thing to do. My friend got his headunit jacked and they couldn't
get to his amps and subs because the lock prevented it.
Luckily his insurance payed for the damaged window and for the stolen headunit.
If you have a system I suggest you lock your trunk EVERY NIGHT before you go
to sleep. You might also want to ALWAYS take your detachable headunit with you.
BTW - LLwesman, sorry for what happened. That's an awsome attitude you
have.

Never knew we had a lock next to the trunk release..hell it took me a month to find the cruise control button. I got nothing in my trunk anyway except my baseball equipment.

Yeah....I know...you get the feeling like "damn, if I had just left the window open, they still would have stole my shit, but at least I wouldn't have saran wrap on my window right now".
It really pays to have a good security system, or to pull the face off your deck every time.

The reason why the stock alarm sucks. I'd opt to get an alarm with a glass sensor. Did you slam your sounds alot? Maybe thats how they found out that you had something in your car.

That sucks man, I feel your pain.
I had some stuff jacked one time, and they took my whole dash with it. I made a new one out of sheet metal with "custom" razor sharp edges.
