New member with a problem

First of all, hello. My name is Paul, and I just moved to the Atlanta area, and am an owner of a 97 White 3.0CL. I hope to learn some good stuff from you guys here.

As for the problem, my car has stalled several times in the last few months, however the problem came to a head a couple of weeks ago when the car froze at 65 on a highway in pouring rain.

All of the lights on the dashboard go on, the wipers froze, and the power steering/brakes, etc went out. Honestly, I felt quite lucky I didn't spin out.

As had happened in the previous failures, the car started right back up, and seemed fine, except for my thumping heart.

I took the car to a Honda dealership, as the closest Acura one was about 100mi away. They couldn't find anything wrong.

Anyone have any clue what the problem could be? Alternator?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I really cant tell you what it is but i have read in here that when your alternator goes that the power stearing stops working so it might be the alternator and plus i read that our alternators tend to go easyly
