i have some rattles in my exhaust, and im thinking about redoing it.

Im thinking a set of headers, no cat, and turbo muffler.
and have the shop make me the pipe
2.25 or maber 2.5 ???

I do not want the exhaust to be loud

I dont think a 4cly with an auto sounds good with exhaust

what size pipe should i use?
would this combo do anything power wise?
how would it sound?
I dont mind some noise but not alot.

is the muffler a can...(bigger than stock) no matter what if the muffler is bigger and the piping is bigger it will be alot louder.. the piping wont make as big of a difference as the muffler will but you will have some gains from a thicker pipe. just dont get duals .. if u really want more power take off those cats and get a treaight pipe or have a removable cat installed...so u can take it off(loud/illegal/more power) or put it on(quieter/legal)

 

do you have the stock exhaust still? i will buy it from you....i am in tampa fl...
go with the 2.25 the 2.5 will make alot louder....what muffler are you thinking about getting.....i can tell you this...the cheap mufflers sound like shit

 

i realy dont want loud exhaust, my cai is loud enough for me.
I dont care for loud 4cly automatics, they just dont sound right to me.

I dont know about the muffler i havent realy looked too far into my options as far as the muffler goes.
