New Auto Shift Knob



What do you guys think of the new shift knob I bought? I mainly bought it because my headunit hits the OEM shift knob when I try to change cd's and this one looks a little thinner.

I like the look of it, but I'm not a big fan of the aluminum color. If I tape up the (fake) burlwood and spray paint the aluminum color black, will that look ghetto, or turn out ok?

i like it.black would def look better.also like how the wood would matchup.

RAZO makes some nice pump shifters for automatics. i got one and i'm pretty happy with it. a little pricey though.

My buddy has this on his 2002 Miata that he just smacked up. I thougt it was nice on the Miata.

i used to have one. it doesn't match up with the factory wood and its pretty big.

All I can say is THANK GOD you didn't get that one, it's hideous, just as hideous as the fake silver and black checkered "carbon look" one that looks just like it. That fawker is nasty.

Exactly...

Although, I think the lighting in your pic exagerates the difference. The wood isn't that mismatched in normal light. The shifter is big as hell though...would be much better on an SUV.

Umm...I did...but it will be replaced very soon. Actually, I didn't think the picture I posted of it looked bad, but you can tell from herbalist how fugly it is in real life.

Actually now that I look closer, I don't think the stock picture represents the actual item very well. It's definitely darker in the picture. Also, the button is black in the pic but actually wood.
