New Auto Shift Knob
What do you guys think of the new shift knob I bought? I mainly bought it because my headunit hits the OEM shift knob when I try to change cd's and this one looks a little thinner.
I like the look of it, but I'm not a big fan of the aluminum color. If I tape up the (fake) burlwood and spray paint the aluminum color black, will that look ghetto, or turn out ok?

I bouth this one, originally, thinking it was smaller than stock (it's not) and thinking it would match (it doesn't... too light):
At least the new one will have less wood, so even if it's not a perfect match, it won't be as noticeable.

I like that shifter. Where did you get it? And if you dont want it would you possibly sell it?

Although, I think the lighting in your pic exagerates the difference. The wood isn't that mismatched in normal light. The shifter is big as hell though...would be much better on an SUV.

Actually now that I look closer, I don't think the stock picture represents the actual item very well. It's definitely darker in the picture. Also, the button is black in the pic but actually wood.
