Need some help
Need some help
Hey quick question not sure if anyone knows an easy solution. Yesterday had to unplug my battery unexpectedly. Since I still have the stock stereo this tripped the security and I need the code to turn it back in. If I just drive over to Acura will they punch it in for me real quick or is this gonna be a big deal. Or if anyone here has a code
. Let me know what ya think
Thanks Alot

Its a little more involved. They have to remove the radio to get the serial number then punch it in. They charged my like $70 for labor, but I had the body shop that worked on my car pay for it since they unhooked the battery. If you removed the radio yourself, and brought it to the dealer they shouldn't charge you.
Also, check to see its not written in your manual or somewhere in the glove compartment by the previous owner.

Just find an acura customer service number. The dealership the car was originally sold at might have it too. If not you can call a dealership to get the number for customer service. You'll need your VIN number so have that handy.
