Need to replace side mirror

Hey guys. I haven't posted much on this site, but you guys have helped me out a lot in the past.

Somebody clipped my driver side the other day and ripped the side mirror off. Luckily that was all he hit. I'd rather fix it myself than deal with the hassle. Is this an easy fix? I've got the whole mirror housing intact (it was hanging on by the mirror motor wires).

Thanks

If u have the info for the person that clipped ur mirror... u should get them to buy u a new one!!! but if not... just look at a junkyard or something.. hteres a few in duarte or whatever... i think our mirror is the same as the 94-97 accords as well... but someone correct me if i'm wrong. That's the problem. I don't have the info since I didn't see it happen.

I'm pretty sure my deductible would be more than the cost to fix it, so I'd rather just do it myself.

Thanks for the info on the parts - is the actual procedure tough?

Super easy fix.

Just remove the black triangular plastic cover on the inside of car. This should reveal the mounting screws for the mirror. Unscrew, replace, tighten, put cover back on. Done.

eBay and Junk yards will be your cheapest sources. Or you can pay $110 for a new one from the dealer (it comes painted too).
