Need opinions on 3rd gauge

I've got two gauges on the pillar already....

where would you guys put the third.

Been thinking about the cup holder like a few of you have done, but other locations?

The turbo ships out tomorrow after the freaking 5 weeks extra I had to wait. As a peace offering, the vendor is getting me an full sweep electric fuel pressure gauge for $80....they go new for $179.

does f-max just sell the components of the turbo kit (everything else except for the turbo?) Cuz let's say theres "THAT GUY" who wants a turbo larger than the t3/t4 hybrid. Is this possible?

Pretty sure you can....

The first place I called said they could opt out of the fuel management (to go with something other than the MF2 and intake injectors).

FMAX buys the turbos from turbonetics. Just ask for a different spec when you order.

Need a civic or integra. Only 3 pods I've found are for these two.

If you look at the pic you see he has a boost gauge and a pyrometer. He is now getting a fuel pressure gauge so he needs somewhere to put it. No, his gauges are not for show considering he is going to be one of the few boosting CL's out there.

i say put the electric fuel pressure gauge in pod, and move the boost gauge between the tach and the speedo, on the back plastic insert that comes out.

call me stupid, but what is the pyrometer for?

If that doesn't work, mounting it in the forward cup holder sound like a possible option (although, I'm not sure how practical it will be since the "lid" opens towards you, somewhat blocking a clear view).

just an idea for you......

Go to a paint shop and tell them you want some interior vinyl paint and you want something matched on your car.....they go out to your car with a bunch of swatches for vinyl paint and match the one for your interior pillar.

you spend 18 bucks on the paint and a special sprayer that will allow you to paint that black gauge pod the stock interior color of your car.....so it looks stock :-)

it shouldnt cost you more than 20 bucks, and it makes a HUGE difference in the look.

He does have an Apexi V-AFC so that should help out with the tunning but an A/F gauge could come in handy. I know my a/f gauge has.

The Apexi auto timer reads air/fuel off the primary O2 sensor It quantifies an actual air/fuel ratio instead of a bunch of flashing LED's.

Tuning should be done on a dyno with a wideband O2 not by a gauge.

Exhaust gas temperatures. The leaner the hotter. The more youre on the boost, the hotter they get.
