Need info on TV's in visors

Hey everyone, Ive been searching on some topics on tv's in visors and need to know a little bit more. Since getting an in dash dvd player is prolly gonna cost me an arm and a leg and gonna get stolen by some theft, im looking into putting some tv's in my visors. So i have some questions...

-Can soemone explain to me exactly how it works? how do i get the tv in the visor? i buy a monitor and a kit and take out the mirror and such and glue it on???

-How easy is it to wire all up? I wanna get a ps2 to play games and dvds for the monitors

-Where can I buy the kits and monitors? i'm looking to get maybe 5.6 inch screens

Thanks everyone

okay first of all how much are you looking to spend.. I got my whole dvd player and monitor setup for 1,000 and it works great.. It plays mp3, dvd, vcd(which is cool because I watch burned videos), compact disc. as long as you have a good installer to it would be hell to have all of it ripped out of your car.. but I'm not going to say it won't.. now on the lines of tv's in your visor

their are 3 ways of doing this.....

1. yeah you can glue it on
2. you can velcro it on
3. or you can have a custom install and cut it out and mount it inside the visor

-How easy is it to wire all up? I wanna get a ps2 to play games and dvds for the monitors

1. your whole setup will be time consuming because where do u want to put your ps2 first of all then second... u must ask your self this... your ps2 will only support one monitor u might need a brain.

1 screens pm me on that I can probably get you some screens for around 100

Thanks everyone

Im looking to spend around no more than 700 I guess, its flexible. I was wondering about how to get video to both monitors with the ps2. Cant i just buy like a Y adapter? If i need a brain, what kind of brain would i need and where could i get it? I was planning on putting the ps2 underneath my driver seat. How easy would it be to do it myself? I was looking to get these, the PT-569MSV

Don't go cheap and get the Y adapter. Get the brains! It will look a lot better and will have less wires to show. And if you want you can also add the option of adding more than just sunvisor TV's. But if you're cheap yes you can use the Y adapter.

What brain did i need to get? does it have to be a power acoustik? to go with the monitors? do I need two?

Also, it is easy to put the monitors in yourself, or should I have a pro do it?

ok the brain he is reffering to, i think he means a signal boopster. clarion makes a good one and can run 7 screens (without one the picture may become dark blurry) cost about $45. as for in the sunvisors its alot easier to buy visors with the screens already in them. if not use the shrouds that come with monitor. mount the schourd buy using thin aluminem bars that run accross the whole sunvisor and the shroud alreadt has screw hole to mount them on to the alum bars. you could also mount a bigger screen in the area where your deck presently is and relocate the deck somewhere else out of site.
