help i can help you with the rotors, you need to have them pressed off and then have the new rotors pressed on. i was going to do my back but its a lot fo work and you need a machinist to do the pressing. thats is what the mechanic told me when i had my brakes redone. the back were a bitch the front are no prob. but look into it and call around to shops and ask them about it or hey they do a free estimate and you can ask them how to take it off.

The REAR is pressed on on the 98 3.0?
I thought only the fronts of the 97's were ever pressed on...
The rears on most hondas are held on with two little phillips head screws after the rotor is off. The heads stripped so I had to drill the screws out of mine. They are not required anyhow.
(Thanks to guys on this board for the info...)

For the fronts of mine I had to have a shop do it so I just gave the guy $100 cash and he worked on it on a slow day. Better than the full $200 - $300 for a brake job...

See if a shop will do it "off the books".

98 3.0 rotors f/r are not like the 97 fronts. If you were able to get the screws holding the rotor to the hub out, you're halfway there. To get the rotors off, get two 8x1.25mm screws(goto autozone or pepboys). You'll see 2 holes on the rotor that was not used to hold the rotor onto the hub. Screw the 8x1.25 'screws' into the holes carefully and at EVEN INTERVALS and the rotor will come off.
