Need help on finding rims....
I have a black cl with 5% tint and figured some chrome rims would look really nice. But having a hard time finding some rims that I think would look nice. Anyone have any suggestions on some rims that would look nice with my car?
Also I would like to go with 18's but I hear that you loose alot of speed with 18's? Is it noticeable difference?

As far as the speed goes, it depends on how heavy the wheels are. If your gettin chrome 18's they will most likely be heavier than the stock wheels and slow you down a bit.
I have a black CL with tint and chrome wheels if your interested here's the link...

Not even counting the weight of the wheels, 18s will slow you down a little bit just because the circumference of the wheel is a little bigger than stock wheels. I'm not sure exactly how much it is, but it's bigger. This means that the car has to work harder to go the same distance. The plus is that your odometer will be recording fewer miles than you're actually driving (which, after a LONG time of driving with 18s can be pretty cool), but the downside is that your speedometer is recording a slower speed than you're actually going, which can suck with cops. But it's a really small difference, and if you get your speedometer recalibrated it shouldn't be a big deal.
But yeah, I can tell a significant loss of pickup ability, that whole first-to-second-gear-pause is more noticeable, and the turning radius is absolutely shot to hell. However, they look so great.
I'm not a fan of chrome, but to each his own. Just don't get LD1s and I'll still love you.

Just b/c you want 18's doesn't necessarily
mean your overall wheel diameter will change enough to matter.
Look at this:
Tire Diameter Calculator
I know it says "miata" but that doesn't really matter.
As long as the percentage is close you will be fine.
1% is only 1 MPH off @ 100 MPH.
Now wheel weight is a totally different issue. And like the others stated, 18's usually run heavier than 16's. You can find super light 18's but they are big bucks.
Good luck!!
BTW......this site has many wheels to look at:

Well, I promise you it's much slower from a complete stop than 1 mph. I never timed myself 0-60 before, but I can swear that I've lost at least two or three seconds. And my wheels are lighter than stock wheels. (I think, didn't someone say stock wheels are 25 lbs? My 18s are 19 lbs). What I was saying about the speedometer is theoretical, but eventually it would make a difference. What I said about the pickup time is NOT theoretical. Unless I just have weird wheels, or maybe I'm just weird.

BUT guess what? I am SO out of my ticket...
I figured out that if I had 235-50 tires on my car, then I'd be off by 9.something percent, which means that if my speedometer said 79, then a radar detector would say 86.5, and my ticket is for 86 in a 65, with 80 being reckless. Now I just tell the truth, that I had my cruise control set to 79 (under reckless) and my tires made it wrong.

18's will always take more power from the engine. The majority of the mass of the wheel is further from the axis of rotation and requires more torque to turn it.
Torque=radius X Force
The bigger the radius with a constant torque (from engine), the smaller the force (rubber to pavement).
How much on the other hand is probably negligible. My brother put 18's on his car and he complained about its torque dropping.
