Need help deciding intake! 3.0 CL

right now i have dibs on other sites for 2 different intakes.. i dont know which one i should go for...

1. AEM V2 but half an inch cut off because the previous owner had the helix tb spacer...

2. Comptech Icebox for v6 accord ..

i have not seen anybody with an comptech icebox on first gens..

does anyone have their pros and cons on these intakes and which one i should get

both asking for same price..

the V2 is awsome! the hum you are talking about only occurs at wide open throttle, and its more of a growel than a humm

If you listen closely, you can hear a slight hum at idle. It'll roar when you floor it.

V2 looks better of course, Comptech looks more stock.

Go with the V2, unless the weld in the cut is not the best.

I just got the V2 in my 97 3.0 about 2 weeks ago.
Definitely exceeded my expectations.... Little hum at normal accelaration and growls when you wanna let the car next to you you're there. Oh and the gas mileage is better as they said above...unless your flooring it all the time...

NATO, what is the site that your looking at to buy your v2? Also, does this cold intake system really increase your mpg by like 10 or 12 cause that seems like a lot, especially in the long run.

definately get the V2, I had it and LOVEd it. Here in Charlotte I was getting 360-380 miles per tank after my V2 and new plugs.

I don't know why he cut the V2, make sure he cut it at the end, don't buy a re-welded intake, it messes up the flow. When I have my V2 and helix spacer, they all fit fine.
