Welll im driving to day and my needle out of no were shoots up I stop and everything is fine. Well I just got home and again my car needle goes up and then down and then up and then down and then stays in the middle. I also noticed when leaving my garage, tranny fluid (I guess from the tranny casing). The color was orange???? I know that it is cherry red and orange does not look like a good sign at all. What do I do and what is it????? And im 10000% positive that it is tranny fluid because I had been leaking it since before, just dont have the money for a new casing. Plz help is really scaring me especially that the tranny fluid looks like if is burining.

 

Weird, whenever i've seen burnt tranny fluid, it's darker and black

The overheating sounds like a thermostat

 

yea thats what i was thinking too, you might as well check all the hoses for cracks
