I just bought tein basic coilovers for the CL I need your guys opinion on this. What sized rims would look best on the CL thats lowered? I want some 17inch ones but my friend said 16s also look pretty nice. I think 18 are too huge but i don't know. Oh, and i'm looking into some Work XD9s or some XC8s thanks for the tips and opinions! Maybe bronze or the shiny metal buff ? i dunno! I need experts!
These are the XC8s

Here are the XD9s!

Oh and, i used this website called live.com, sponsored by windows/microsoft, to get 30% off my purchase from eBay! Just a tip if you guys want to ever use it.

XC8's for sure, 17 would be a good size with a drop, I would get bronze, but the polished is sexy too, the XC8's are more of an original style

17's & 18's are the best sizes for our car IMO.. 18's seem like a decent size to me, i'd get 17's but then again i'd be to scared to slam my car wit them haha and as for color bronze would look clean so i vote bronze

haha sounds like bronze is a winner But it's so hard to decide! The XD9s are so clean, and the bronze color on looks better than the XC8s. I am definitely leaning towards the bronze XC8s though! Thanks for the advice guys, oh, and are there any acurazine members that go to UC davis? lol i may have seen a CL from this forum there

gl on the rims quest. i think 18's would be better for the drop because u'll get a little bit more ground clearance, plus rims start to look small after u get used to it.

I don't go to UC Davis, but i have some friends that go there and I come up there sometimes. I park on the streets ahah.

The the bronze XD9s look hot. Only go 18 if you plan on slamming the shit out of it, otherwise it looks awkward.

BTW, wanna PM the secret of getting 200 of teins? haha

cant find the ebay link on live search anymore. must be gone.

i like the polish xc8's. im not gonna tell you what rim size to get bc its really just a personal choice. look at different size rims and then decide what you like. i didnt do that i just shoved the biggest f***ing rims i could on my car

ps 19"s look great, 20"s look even better....

@blind shooter : oh, for the live search thing, you gotta set up an account right? then after that you needa verify email address, and i think you have to have an ebay account. afterwards, when all ur shit is confirmed, go to live.com and then on the top right area, there's a link called " cashback" click on it, sign in with the account you JUST made. after that, just search whatever you want. If it's on eBay you can pretty much get 30% back. It takes 2 months to come back though, and you need a paypal account. They do that so if you wanna return your items, you don't get your 30% discount. You know you are doing it right when on the top of eBay, it says Microsoft cashback 30% off,see conditions, or something like that and you can only buy buy it now stuffs haha. eBay will also send you a notification saying you will egt your money back, and theres a maximum limit of geting 200$ back. its worth it to try, i did it, and i should be getting it in 2 months.

here's a pic of what it looked like when i bought mine just so you know how to do it. the area that says microsoft cashback 30% when you are about to buy it shows you are doing it right, and you HAVE to pay with paypal or else it won't work

Depending on which Tein set up you plan on going with, the ingalls alignment kit will work. Either way way the kit will be fine. I'm running Tein HA coilover Suspension With ingalls Control Arm Anchor bolts and Adjustable Rear control arms w/upper ball joints and it rides pretty good. Also running 18s so I could lower if I wanted to but it's all good.

XD9s for sure cause they match well with white! you should definitely get 18's cause no one ever gets complimented on how small their rims are! 16's are corny no matter how cool you think the wheels look and 17's are ok depending on which rims you pic! and make sure those rims come in 4 lug.
