Is my tranny shot?
ok, so i'm driving last night, all of a sudden i hear a ticking sound coming from the engine bay, and my car wont shift. The ticking i think is another problem all together, but i was stopped at a red light, tried to go, and it rev'd high and then jerked hard into first. jerked into second and third. When slowing down the car bogs BAD when down shifting. When i'm stopped at a light the car acts like it in neutral.
i have only 84k on the tranny, but could it be gone on me already?
The fluid was a little low (not bad) so i'm filling that after work today, but would that be the problem?? i dont want to drive it more and make it worse. Plus with the ticking, i dont want to screw the motor up if thats another thing.

I got the EXACT same problem yesterday, i was driving and talking on my phone and i looked down and my rpms were at the redline while i was cruising along at like 35mph
