depends on which speakers your talking about, but either way not hard at all. the hardest speakers for us to replace are the tweeters in the dash. but I wouldn't replace those anyways, tweeters are tweeters and ours work fine.

There are IIRC 4 screws to disassemble our doors, then those little plastic piece of shit clips that break no matter how gentle you are haha.

make sure you take apart the door handle assembly before you try and get the door off.. the assfuck who owned the car before me just tried to force it, and consequentially broke on end of the plastic clip that holds in the cup behind the lever.

I could do a DIY if there isnt already one..

Alpine Type-R tweeters fit great in the factory location in the dash. I had a pair w/ crossovers from my R components that I did not want to put in this car. Dropped the crossovers into the dash and ran wire up to the tweeters. decided to put good old full range speakers in the doors for more highs, sounds much better than just components imo.
