Chris has had his smoked longer than anyone that I know of.
BTW, we're talking about the headlight corners, not lower corners.
edit: just read page 2.

save your money... get k-sport coils. im surprised no one gave you that advice.
with the money you save, get your headers and intake. if you have some money left over, get your exhaust done, from the downpipe to the muffler... might as well pick up a magnaflow exhaust while your at it.

The stock amp powers the stock speakers, front and rear. Some people have gotten the amp to trigger, some people (like me) have bypassed the amp and ran their speakers right off of their head unit. Some people (like me) have run all new wires to power aftermarket speakers by a new amp

so i wanna wire my interiors to an amp for better quality. should i use the wires that are already there or should i run new ones? or just run them to the radio?
i am buying new,better aftermarkets.

You can either bypass the stock amp and use the existing wires to power off the head unit, or you can do a new amp, but that would require running new wires

alright. i guess ima just get a new amp too.
i wanna go with alpine all around and for the amp.
is alpine a good option for interiors?
i need it bad. i blew my tweeters, and back deck speakers.

the way car audio works (sadly) is that you get what you pay for.
id recommend kicker 6x9's and polk 6 3/4".
You want to chose an amp based off of the RMS wattage of the speakers. in this case, its 80 watts, so a 300 Watt 4 channel amp will do the trick. Id recommend buying a Kicker zx350, theyre always over rated power wise (literally) and kicker has the multi channel amp thing figured out better then anyone else on the market.

yes lol, thats what i have in my car. the bass output of the 6x9's is awesome. Before i even installed my subs, people riding in my car would ask what kind of subs i had. As for the front speakers, the polks give unmatched clarity. its amazing the difference they make over that of stock.

a huge difference actually, especially with high end volume. most companies include 60 w (4x15) or 88w (4x22) as the stock unit. when you upgrade to 4x45 or 4x60, your over powering the speakers that most of the time are rated at no higher then 20w RMS.
Upgrading the speakers gives you a bigger magnet, more durability, clearer sound, and the ability to run the unit at a higher volume without over modulation (gargling noise) erupting from your speaker.
I still dont have an amp in my car for my cabin speakers, and chances are i probably wont invest in one. they run fine and plenty loud off of just my head units power alone.
