My CL keeps cutting off

Let's say I drove the car for almost 3+ hrs and I turn it off. When restart it back up the car acts funny... like its about to shut off on me the engine shakes and then when I press the gas hard it gets normal... the other night I was driving home doing about 60 on the express way the car shut off on me and the green key sign came on the dash broad. I pulled over and started it back up... happen about 3-4 time

What could it be?

theres a recall for the ignition switch on some first gen cl's, just call your dealership with your vin in hand and see if the recall apply's to you.

sounds like ignition switch. i believe the green key means the immobilizer is activated, so it pretty doesnt recognize that the key is in there. thats my guess. like aznx said, call your dealer.

try pushing your key up while in the ignition, ussually if that helps its the ignition switch

I dont have an OEM key, I mean I dont have ACURA written on the key!

Can it be an ideal sensor
