My 97 3.0
Hi all, I've finally got my 3.0 after almost 3 weeks of waiting around. It is totally stock but I'm not planning to do anything crazy to it. Probably just change out the head unit and the speakers. No amps or subs. I don't need to much bass but what the stock system is really nothing. Next I'll put some tint on it.
Let me ask you guys a few things:
What is a good set of 6x9's and what size are the ones up front and what's good for that too?
Second, which tint will look better, the mirror ones or the black ones?

You can find an exhaust tip here or here.
Infinity Reference, or better yet, Infinity Kappa are excellent (low cost) speakers. The speakers in the front are 6 1/2" components (meaning there's a 1" tweeter in the dash and 6 1/2" mid-range in the door).
I don't have tint, so I won't recommend what I don't have.
BTW: Congrats on your CL!

Dont mind him, hes just jealous because he doesnt have an automatic.
Thats a nice looking car, I have the regular tint and I think it looks good on mine because my car is black. With your car its a toss up, I think either of the tints would look good. I would go with the limo tint because its different and probably have less of a chance getting pulled over for it.

i have the mirror tint, and that shit looks hella sick, but im a dumbass and a lazy one at that so i dont nkow how to post pictures. anyways, depending on your local laws, you might want to mirror out the whole thing, but in a lot of places that shit's illegal. when i got pul;led over dui, the first thing they said in the cop car, was "so, that's why we couldn't see inside... he got that funky tint, that's gonna cost you son" anyways, the dui never came around to anything, (thank god) the tint is still tintin', and i think that shit is dope. i mirrored out the back, and on the driver windows i got a light black. looks pretty good. also for your speakers, just get a good head unit with high power. it'll make the stock speakers sound hella better
