You should be running lower 16's. at least 16.5 with what you have. i ran a 16.6 with mine way long ago and all i had was short ram with shitty filter and a fart can. what did you launch at?

all i have to say for myself is, that was my first time racing, cars were running shitty times all night. i was only allowed to run once because it was free, we'll see what happens next time i run the F22 or possibly the H22 im looking to buy, but i def gotta improve my driving skills, SIMPLE AS THAT.

well i gotta buy the motor first, which is the easy part. but yea that would be cool. what the deal with the manual tensioner on the H22, apparently i will have to change that or something???

I want to run my CL at the track just for shits and giggles. But I don't want to pay $20+ just to find out it runs a 17 second quarter mile.

it's because with nitrous, the power is instantaneous. an h22 won't give you 200whp and more than 225 ft/lbs stock or even with basic bolt on's. people may think it's a waste of money to swap an H, but in the end what really matters is what you do with it. the main reason why people want to swap an H is because it's different and they want to experience the potential of what the H has to offer. but i'm not singling out the F-series. the F-series too has potential (along with any motor), it just depends on what you do to it. like you, for instance. you've managed to pull very nice #'s for an n/a F-series. it's all about personal preference.

its cheaper, but its a never ending payment. i love haivng all that extra power with a flick of a switch and for not one second do i wish i would have done anything else.

bring your car to the track, see how you do then see how that measures to my numbers and money spent

but in the longer run the numbers wont add up
plus... how much longer will your block endure the constant beating?

nitrous is all fair game just like any other modification. and i believe it's the most cost effective way to make real power.

from what I've seen h22's can't handle shit for boost or spray on stock internals.

ghost master knows whats up... percy is a moron like always

yeah percy except for the fact of the lack of forged pistons, and you'd have to spend over a grand sleeving teh block if you want to boost it or run nitrous in more than little amounts

any motor has potential depending on the work being done to it. how about we all appreciate those taking their projects to another level by doing something majority of those who hadn't.

cost effectiveness only relates to your own budget - not somebodys opinion. do whatever you please. in the end, you gotta pay to play.

actually civic drivers have been swapping F22/3 in there cars. mostly because of there availbility and the price.
