Multiple recall work

on Acuras website when i punch in my VIN it says I have no outstanding recalls however my lower balljoint boots are cracked and im worried they will go bad soon. Im assuming the previous owner had the lower balljoint recall completed my question is can I have it completed again since they have obviously gone bad again?

You can call the dealer and ask, chances are if it was already done then Honda won't approve another one

I had the same problem with the ignition switch. The previous owner had already had it fixed so they would not replace it again when it went bad again (was a horrible safety hazard as the vehicle would cut off at any time it took a notion to going down the road). I ended up changing it myself and actually just changed the internal switch parts and use the same key. The Acura dealership quoted me about 250-300 dollars to fix because they said they would have to make new keys and everything, this way ended up costing me I believe it was 30 bucks and about an hours worth of work. Would have been less but the bolts has break away type heads on them to make them look like rivets and they had broken them off when they installed them so I had to cut slots in the heads with a dremel tool so I could remove them with a screwdriver
