I'll take my CL to a shop this Monday to get it painted and my stock lips and sides are gonna get painted white. So what should I do with the mudflaps? Keep them unpainted, painted white, or take them off completely?

^ number one reason why i took mine off. When i race, they tend to scrape around realy tight sections and the car also looks nicer without them. It gives the car a cleaner look and plus, if your dropped you realy cant have them on anyways.

the only downside to taking them off is that the car will get dirty easier... when you drive over some water, the splash will make your doors look horrible..

i have my front flap taken off.. and my rear ones are still on.. just cause the water spray is horrible for my rear bumper..

it looks pretty good.. if i had painted them.. it wouldve looked kinda wierd..

The mud flaps protect the car from rocks and the like.

If you paint them, they will not flex as easily and will become chipped and ugly. If you leave them unpainted, they will not be affected by the environment and your new white paint job will stay chip free around the fenders.
