msd

does anyone have msd ignition on there cl's? what is the actual purpose of it and does it relly make a difference cuz my fren offered me a brand new one for 90 bucks is it worth it

you damn right it is worth it. the purpose is to give you more spark. i had it on mine for a while and if your car runs rich, then the msd will burn the excess up. when you keep your foot in the gas pedel you will notice a decrease in gas mileage

i have an msd ignition w/ msd wires and ngk plugs..like froggy said it gives u more spark..i noticed a little throttle response after the install

I had an msd ignition on my truck with an msd blaster coil really didint notice a difference, but then again the truck was stock my friend added it to his old mustang and it made all the difference in the world but his was highly modded.
