mounting amps
Hey you guys, I mounted my amp to the back of my rear seat in my trunk. That doesnt really seem like the best place though. I was just wondering where you guys place your amps. Thanks.

Mount it in the floor like SliverKnight (i think thats who it was) in the cartalk forum does. It looked really cool

I've got mine under my passenger seat & then I have the brain to my DVD/Screen combo in the rear passenger quarter panel. Both seem fine to me and have been that way since Feb.

I had 2 small rockford (punch 100a2 and power 200a1) mounted behind the carpeted panel, in the stock amp location with 4 small hamster cage fans cooling them, you couldnt even tell I had amps in there untill I pulled the panel back. They never got too hot and never shut down... of course i never played it too loud, but it sounded and looked great.
