motor parts

I need a gaset for the EGR valve on my 3.0 CL, but people at honda are stupid and Im tired of dealin with them, so basicly Im lookin for a break down of the honda V6 motor so I can get the part number for this gaset and get it from honda. does anybody know where on-line I can find the break down of the motor??

I thought the EGR valve was replaced under recall. Check with the dealership on that.

well, I called, he said that it might be covered by them then it might not, but they wont know till they look at it, then they'll deside if its goin to cost me or not, so Im goin under a 50/50 chance that after they look at it they they will charge me $75+tax or if its free. does this sound stupid to anyone else??

if they are checking as a warranty recall why would it cost anything? doesnt make sense

You can check www.acuraautomotiveparts.org for the part, but it should be covered under warranty.

It all depends on how many miles you have on your car.

my car has 90k miles, plus I just put another EGR valve on, I got one for $15, and I just used the old gaset, it came off pretty nice, soo... it should be o-k

The part # is 18715-PB2-000 for the gasket.

Dust,
How can I get a copy of that Emissions Warranty Extension? My check eng light came on at about 60k and i just had my friends dad clean some sensor and it worked. But if i can get some stuff replaced for free then why the heck not.
If and when the light does come on again I'd like to have some kind of letter stating my claim. Thanks
