mods needed to run low 15's

I got a CL 2.2 AUTOMATIC.

What mods do I need in order to run the low 15s in a 1/4 Mile??? You guys think exhaust, headers and short ram intake will do it or I need what else????

If you have time..... How bout the high 14's????? mods?

2.2

Since I already have questions.... How many valves do the CL 2.2 have? And what is the difference if you have 16 valve or 24 valve?

You have 4 vavles per cylinder = 16 valves

A 24 valve would most likely be a 6 cylinder.

A 75-shot of N2O should get you into the low 15's to high 14's.

woops just saw that you listed both of those ?'s.
don't I look stupid.
Anyways, I have a 2.3 5-speed with e/cai/h and probably could run high fifteens. I've only ran 1/8th so far and my best is a 10.2

maybe with a few more bolt ons I could get low 15's.
Anyone know how good the lightweight flywheels are. I've heard those are the best bolt on you can buy. Let us know if this is true.

ok dick, to answer your question, without turbo or nitrous you would need a hell of a lot more bolt ons than e/i/h to run low 15. Especially in your fuckin auto. With those mods you'd be lucky to even break 16.

lol You're funny......looking just kidding. He may be right though, the cl is more of a luxury car than a speed demon. My guess is that with i/h/e/, free flow cat, pullies, cam gear, and a VAFC, you should be able to get low 15's if not lower. Traction may be a problem though.

I'm telling 'ya; for around $500, a 75-shot of nitrous will get you where you want to go!

I'm a amateur. I probably blow up my car if I use nos. I heard that if you leave it on for more then 10 sec you will blow out your motor.

Thanks anyways

You two should kiss and make up . Seriously, Nitrous would honestly be the cheapest way to get to that time. Other than that, you would have to spend a decent amount of money.

Headers-300
Intake-150
Exhaust-400
cam gear-150
VAFC-350
pullies-150
free flkow catalytic converter-150
Dyno tuning-150

Total you would be looking at about 1800 and that is AT LEAST, and even then it wouldn't garuntee you that time.
